Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of progressive tax/accounting experience.
• Master's degree in Taxation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with executive leadership.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a highly visible role within a complex organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the organization's overall tax strategy, ensuring compliance while identifying opportunities for tax efficiency and process improvement.
• Partner directly with C-suite executives and senior leadership on tax planning, risk management, and strategic business decisions.
• Oversee federal, state, and local tax compliance, reporting, and related filings.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve tax processes, controls, and reporting.
• Research and interpret complex tax regulations and communicate their business impact to leadership.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, legal, and other business functions on tax-related initiatives.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and other professional partners.
• Support tax planning, forecasting, audits, and other strategic initiatives.
• Serve as a key internal subject-matter expert and resource for tax matters across the organization.
