Sedgwick is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Contractor) to lead regional staffing activities with relationship-building, data-driven recruiting, and AI-enabled techniques. The role supports cost-effective hiring solutions within a hybrid/remote work model, with a standard 37.5-hour workweek.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in staffing, strong sourcing skills, and a track record of delivering hiring results across locations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Experience: Four (4) years staffing experience or equivalent, including three (3) years as a direct recruiter in high-volume sourcing.
  • Insurance industry recruiting experience preferred; recruiting software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies and cultivates sources for hiring experienced and entry level personnel through networking and colleague referrals.
  • Develops and utilizes Internet mining technology and capabilities for sourcing.
  • Maintains a competitor candidate information database.
  • Initiates candidate relationship pipeline management strategy.
  • Uses current and future staffing technology.
  • Manages Regional recruiting budget through advertising and third-party recruiters.
  • Develops preferred supplier list of third-party recruiters; negotiates discounted rates with National staffing director.
  • Screens, interviews, and tests job applicants; maintains applicant database.
  • Provides staffing metrics for regional hiring; tracks retention; advises management on turnover.
  • Trains hiring managers and Colleague Resource Generalists in recruiting software; trains on system updates.
  • Promotes training in Behavioral Interviewing Techniques and other assessment tools.
  • Supports training for Colleague Resources Generalists in staffing techniques.
