Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Manager of Supply Planning to develop constrained production plans and capacity analyses to support the S&OP process. This role balances service levels, inventory targets, and manufacturing costs across multiple facilities.

The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement with cross-functional partners, maintain planning models, and mentor other planners while leading weekly operations reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience planning and managing supply chain assets in a high-volume CPG environment.
• Experience using advanced planning technology and decision-support tools.
• Proven problem-solving skills across multiple functional departments.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a 13-week master production plan for assigned categories across multiple facilities.
• Serve as the primary supply chain contact for assigned product categories and partner with senior stakeholders.
• Lead weekly operations meetings and communicate supply chain issues with recommendations for resolution.
• Mentor, coach, and develop other planners across categories.
• Plan and control production while establishing distribution inventory goals for finished goods.
• Maintain and validate long-term production schedules and planning models (e.g., JDA/SAP environments).
• Support and lead development of planning tools and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate across functions to support S&OP processes and budget planning.
