Job summary

MCC in Ohio is seeking a Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement, production planning, inventory, and logistics. You will optimize supplier performance, costs, and service levels while guiding cross-functional teams to improve efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in sourcing, planning, and logistics within manufacturing, with proven vendor management and cost-reduction experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM or related field.
• 7+ years in materials management, supply chain, or operations.
• Strong background in production planning, purchasing, inventory, receiving and shipping.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing & Strategic Sourcing: procure raw materials, negotiate with suppliers, develop strategies.
• Production Planning: create and manage schedules aligned to demand and inventory.
• Receiving & Inventory Control: oversee receiving, cycle counts, accuracy, ERP/MRP usage.
• Shipping & Logistics: manage shipping, carriers, costs, and compliance.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: track KPIs and present improvement plans.
• Leadership & Process Improvement: lead teams and drive continuous improvement.
