Job summary

ZS is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Consultant to help clients optimize demand, supply, inventory and capacity planning. You’ll work across planning transformations, including forecasting, S&OP, and production scheduling, partnering with client teams to implement practical, data‑driven solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in supply chain planning, strong experience with APS/ERP systems, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning and scheduling.
• Hands‑on experience as a planner, planning supervisor, or planning manager.
• Strong understanding of S&OP, forecasting, inventory and capacity planning.
• Experience with APS and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle Planning, Kinaxis, RELEX, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead client workstreams across demand planning, forecasting, supply planning, inventory planning, production planning, scheduling, S&OP, and capacity planning.
• Assess current planning processes and identify opportunities to improve performance and service levels.
• Support rough‑cut capacity planning, network planning and long‑term capacity initiatives.
• Design and deploy improved planning processes, workflows, and ways of working.
• Partner with planners, planning supervisors, and managers to understand business requirements and adoption of new approaches.
• Support planning technology initiatives involving APS and ERP platforms from a business user perspective.
• Collaborate with Operations leaders to shape use cases for Decision Intelligence platforms.
• Develop recommendations and client deliverables across planning strategy, process improvement, operating models and analytics.
• Support advanced planning use cases such as ML‑driven forecasting, inventory segmentation and production scheduling.
• Contribute to emerging AI and agentic solutions for demand and supply planning and KPI analysis.
• Manage project workstreams, client relationships, timelines, and deliverables while mentoring junior team members.
