Job summary

Sun Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to support end-to-end supply planning for the Chattem Chemicals site, balancing demand, inventory, and production capacity. The role collaborates with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, Customer Service, Finance, and Commercial teams to align objectives.

Using Kinaxis Maestro, SAP, and other tools, the planner identifies risks, performs scenario analyses, and drives decisions to optimize service levels and continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the specified fields.
• 5+ years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, production planning, inventory management, purchasing, logistics, operations, production control, master scheduling, or supply chain analytics within manufacturing.
• Experience in chemical/pharma/consumer healthcare/industrial/process manufacturing.
• Experience with Kinaxis, SAP IBP, SAP APO, Oracle, O9 or similar planning platforms.
• Strong knowledge of MRP and ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills for complex models and reporting.
• Proven ability to lead process improvements and drive adoption of planning practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven conclusions.
• Strong organizational skills for multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to work independently with strong follow-up and execution.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end supply planning for the Chattem Chemicals site.
• Partner cross-functionally to align demand, material availability, and production plans.
• Identify supply risks and balance supply and demand.
• Perform scenario analysis to drive planning decisions.
• Support Kinaxis adoption and process standardization.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning capabilities.
