Job summary

GEP seeks a highly capable consultant in Chicago to help world-class companies make their supply chains faster, smarter, and more resilient. You will work at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and real-world execution, tackling complex challenges and turning data into actionable solutions that drive measurable results.

You will collaborate with experienced consultants and client leaders, gaining exposure to various industries and business models, while building a toolkit in supply chain

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations or Engineering.
• 4-8 years of relevant experience, ideally in supply chain consulting or a similar analytical environment.
• A strong interest in supply chain strategy, operations, and business transformation.
• The ability to analyze data, connect the dots, and turn complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support client engagements focused on supply chain strategy, operations improvement, and transformation.
• Analyze performance data to identify opportunities and root causes of operational challenges.
• Develop recommendations that are practical and can be implemented in the real world.
• Lead client discovery workshops to identify high-impact AI use cases and translate challenges into AI roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage internal AI tools to accelerate workflows.
• Partner with clients to turn strategy into measurable results and build lasting relationships.
• Contribute to proposals and help grow the business by identifying opportunities for value creation.
• Mentor newer consultants while growing leadership skills.
