LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Specialist to oversee supplier relationships, inventory planning, and material purchasing for a manufacturing operation. This role ensures materials are available to meet production demands and customer delivery timelines, coordinating with multiple teams to maintain efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities.
• Team-oriented with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
• Interest in mechanical systems, equipment, and components.
• Experience using an ERP system.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships to support timely deliveries, consistent quality, and competitive pricing.
• Monitor inventory levels and align material availability with customer forecasts and production schedules.
• Communicate demand forecasts to suppliers and coordinate inventory stocking agreements.
• Review daily purchasing reports and dashboards to order materials needed for production while maintaining appropriate safety stock levels.
• Coordinate the return merchandise authorization (RMA) process for defective materials.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other internal teams to communicate project requirements, material delays, and supply updates.
• Support cross-functional projects and help maintain efficient purchasing and inventory processes.
