Job summary

HarcoSemco is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to collaborate with supply chain, quality, manufacturing, and engineering to drive supplier excellence. The role supports supplier selection, qualification, and performance measurement to meet quality objectives.

The successful candidate will ensure supplier QMS compliance (ISO9001/AS9100, Nadcap, FAA), lead audits and SCAR processes, and provide technical support to suppliers while maintaining quality reports and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Quality experience.
• 3+ years of Supplier Quality auditing experience.
• AS9100 Lead Auditor certification or able to certify within first 3 months.
• Strong knowledge of APQP and PPAP.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and 8D.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Experience with product qualification activities or inspection/control.
• Proficiency with MS Office; MINITAB knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure supplier QMS adequacy, QA and QC programs at suppliers.
• Lead supplier audits, surveillance, SCARs, and supplier quality ratings.
• Define supplier specifications with technical groups.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and ensure compliance.
• Analyze supplier performance and drive improvements with suppliers.
• Manage supplier non-conformances and 8D investigations.
• Maintain supplier quality records and ASL; drive CAPA responses.
• Travel up to 40% internationally and domestically.
