Job summary

L.K. Jordan & Associates, a Texas-based staffing leader, seeks a Business Development Manager in Austin to drive new business, secure job orders, and build client relationships across various industries.

You’ll develop a robust sales pipeline, present staffing solutions, and negotiate contracts with profitability in mind. Ideal candidates are goal-oriented, organized, and team-focused, with 5+ years in outside sales and a preference for staffing industry experience.

Qualifications

• Have outside sales experience.
• Have at least 5+ years of professional experience.
• College education preferred.
• Prior experience in the staffing industry will be placed in the highest consideration.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target prospective client companies through research, networking, and referrals.
• Conduct outbound prospecting calls, emails and visits to generate new business.
• Present staffing solutions tailored to client needs, emphasizing value, quality and speed.
• Negotiate contracts, bill rates, and service agreements to ensure profitability.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads and new opportunities.
