Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks an exceptional leader to direct our Golden Dome Integration organization in Chantilly, VA or Colorado Springs, CO. You will orchestrate multi-disciplinary engineering efforts, provide executive-level guidance, and partner with government customers to enable rapid, decisive mission outcomes.

With 12+ years guiding technical teams and a TS/SCI clearance, you will drive strategic integrations across MBSE, mission engineering, supply chain analytics, and operator

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related discipline.
• 12+ years of experience leading technical analysis teams.
• Knowledge of government space and ground mission architectures.
• Proven ability to coordinate across boundaries and translate objectives into work.
• Experience mentoring and developing staff in high-performing teams.
• Executive-level communication with technical staff and senior customers.
• Willingness to travel 10–25%.
• Requires TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic integrator for GDA Chief Engineer systems engineering efforts.
• Synthesize MBSE artifacts, mission analyses, and supply chain strategies into insights.
• Build strategic relationships with government customers and industry partners.
• Lead through influence in a complex environment to advance mission objectives.
• Foster innovation and cross-functional collaboration across peer organizations.
• Oversee full lifecycle of complex technical efforts from needs to delivery.
• Develop team through recruiting, onboarding, and mentorship.
• Drive operational excellence and maintain agility to meet evolving demands.
