Corewell Health is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to act as the key contact and SME for supplier management across assigned service lines. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Supply Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience in supply management with focus on strategic sourcing and supplier development.
• 2 years of experience with supplier contract strategy, negotiations, terms, and administration.
• 2 years of experience with supplier processes and supply chain risk factors and mitigation.
• 2 years of experience with continuous improvement methodologies & cost reduction.
• 2 years of experience in a highly regulated industry (Medical Device) sourcing and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage sourcing strategies aligned with Corewell Health objectives.
• Build relationships with internal customers and support areas to drive enterprise objectives and sourcing strategies.
• Deliver positive financial results by managing total costs and long-term cost benefits.
• Prepare statements of work and manage RFI/RFQ/RFP and contract development/negotiation for assigned products.
• Lead contract review meetings and report milestones and performance to stakeholders.
• Participate in or lead continuous improvement of related business processes; manage supplier issues promptly.
• Administer commercial/financial arrangements with suppliers (billing, invoicing, penalties).
• Foster a customer-focused approach with stakeholders and suppliers; build cross-organizational relationships.
• Be a role model for customer service excellence.
• Develop supplier risk mitigation plans for business continuity and security.
