Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Procurement Manager in California to lead client cost optimization and procurement process optimization projects. You will manage project scope, communications with clients and suppliers, and deliver measurable savings while mentoring consultants and analysts.

Travel 10-50% may be required. We expect at least 5 years in management consulting with procurement or sourcing, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and strong analytic and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of management consulting experience supporting procurement and/or strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years total; if associate degree, minimum 6 years).
• Minimum 3 years' experience focusing on Spend Optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop overall project plans and lead all parts of the client engagement.
• Manage project support resources and coordinate with subject matter experts.
• Develop cost reduction strategies and recommendations.
• Present to client executives and build consensus among stakeholders.
• Develop and nurture relationships with clients and support sales origination.
• Drive procurement process reengineering and strategic sourcing initiatives.
