Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Director of Procurement, Strategic Sourcing to lead the national sourcing strategy and a team of procurement professionals. You will negotiate contracts, drive cost savings, and collaborate with senior leaders across 530+ communities to align procurement with Brookdale's strategic goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5–10 years of related experience, with CPSM preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5–10 years of related experience or equivalent
Master's degree preferred
CPSM certification preferred
Strong negotiation and contract management experience
Proven ability to lead sourcing projects and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

Lead development of sourcing strategies for 530+ communities
Manage RFP processes, supplier negotiations, contract creation and cost savings analyses
Provide market, supplier, and financial insights to optimize sourcing
Develop annual sourcing pipeline plans and project plans with milestones
Lead and coach Sourcing associates and liaise with senior leadership
Negotiate national and regional contracts and SLAs, ensuring compliance
Support ad-hoc initiatives and conduct spend analysis for value creation
Ensure procurement processes comply with Brookdale policies and controls
