Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 3-5 years of deep Category/Commodity Management experience.
• 3-5 years of Contract experience.
• Strong communication, influence and negotiation abilities.
• Experience leading teams and projects.
• Experience with supplier management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies for the business unit and translate them into actionable programs.
• Partner with leaders and Corporate Procurement to evolve sourcing strategies based on priorities and market dynamics.
• Drive Total Cost of Ownership improvements through analytics, market intelligence and cost reduction initiatives.
• Lead global, cross-functional initiatives across virtual teams and cultures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of services at agreed service levels.
• Ensure contract terms align with business requirements and organizational objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to foster collaboration.
• Evaluate, select and recommend suppliers with R&D, Quality, Operations, Regulatory and other functions.
• Serve as the primary supplier relationship owner, managing performance, quality, delivery and pricing.
• Monitor supplier and market performance across regions to identify opportunities for improvement.
