Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Sourcing Manager for mechanical and optical commodities used on Starlink satellites. The role focuses on developing supply bases, negotiating pricing, and ensuring production readiness for rapid program scaling.

You will collaborate with engineering to support NPI, manage global suppliers, and optimize cost, quality, and delivery while traveling up to 30% and working onsite in Bastrop, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, material planning, production planning, or supply chain management; or 9+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in direct commodity sourcing and mass production.
• Experience reading technical drawings, data sheets, BOMs, and related files.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage supply base (domestic and international) for rapid design iteration.
• Lead supplier negotiations including pricing, LTAs, capacity investments, lead times, and terms to ensure continuity of supply.
