Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Associate Sourcing Manager to lead supplier sourcing goals and manage the e-sourcing process. You will leverage market expertise to optimize SKU value and expand the supplier base through strategic relationships.

You will collaborate with merchandising and supply chain, develop negotiation strategies, and perform market analysis to drive cost protections and value improvements across assigned commodities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of corporate retail experience in inventory/merchandising/global sourcing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel; familiar with e-sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify, validate, and pipeline new suppliers to diversify the base and save costs.
• Develop negotiation strategies and analyze cost proposals to justify decisions.
• Oversee the e-sourcing/auction process, including RFI/RFPs and SKU specification validation.
• Research resin, energy, metal, meat, and agriculture commodities for actionable market insights.
• Maintain a qualified supplier matrix and ensure quality, cost, and brand standards.
• Collaborate with merchandising and supply chain to align sourcing strategies.
