Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a senior sourcing leader to drive strategic sourcing across the system in Atlanta. You will lead cross-functional teams, negotiate contracts, and deliver year‑over‑year cost reductions while maintaining quality and service levels.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in business or health administration and extensive supply chain experience, with expertise in commodities management and stakeholder communications across clinical and executive leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Administration, Nursing or a closely related field Required
• In lieu of degree six (6) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement Required
• 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain or related role where financial analysis, contracting, and/or clinical analysis Required
• In lieu of degree eleven (11) years of experience in a Supply Chain or related role where financial analysis, contracting, and/or clinical analysis Required
• A comprehensive knowledge of assigned commodities and materials management principles and practices Required

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives with the ability of achieving significant cost reductions, supplanted with year over year savings and operational improvements in the total cost of goods and services procured while maintaining or improving product quality and supplier service levels.
• Leads, facilitates, assembles, and manages cross-functional teams across the system of Piedmont Healthcare to drive system wide performance improvements, cost reductions, improved or enhanced service level and quality excellence, and knowledge transfer for replication of best practices.
• Coordinates with Supply Chain to ensure that all agreements are properly loaded within systems and products or services are properly implemented operationally.
• Effective communications to key stakeholders including but not limited to medical staff, clinicians, legal, executive leaders and supplier executives.
