Job summary

Aquent Talent partners with a leading financial services client to champion strategic sourcing and category management across digital asset technologies. This temporary role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and the chance to shape vendor strategies and partnering approaches.

You will lead cross-functional sourcing efforts, collaborate with risk, legal, and finance teams, and drive value through rigorous vendor negotiations and lifecycle management in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years with category management, strategic sourcing, vendor management or procurement.
• Experience with emerging digital asset technologies and associated services.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
• Strong negotiation skills and understanding of contract risk.

Responsibilities

• Provide category management leadership to business partners.
• Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies.
• Lead lifecycle of strategic vendor engagements with risk and legal input.
• Conduct competitive sourcing events for optimal vendors and terms.
• Prepare documentation for bidding processes and multi-year agreements.
• Analyze vendor proposals and respond to management inquiries.
• Identify risks related to digital asset technologies and vendor landscapes.
• Collaborate with legal, risk, compliance, and finance on vendor reviews.
• Support internal policy adherence and use of procurement tools.
