Job summary

ON.energy is seeking a Supply Chain Sourcing Manager for Control Panels & Automation Systems to plan, source, purchase, and manage suppliers for industrial panels and automation hardware across deployments.

The role collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Finance, and Quality to ensure timely, cost-effective, high-quality component delivery and scalable power infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of supply chain, sourcing, or procurement experience with industrial electrical equipment, control panels, automation systems, or power infrastructure.
• Experience sourcing custom control panel assemblies, automation hardware, and electrical equipment.
• Strong understanding of industrial controls and automation platforms.
• Familiarity with UL 508A control panels, electrical distribution equipment, and industrial communications systems.
• Proven negotiation, supplier management, and contract administration skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience supporting energy, industrial, data center, utility, or critical infrastructure projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source and manage procurement of UL 508A control panels and enclosures.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and secure production capacity.
• Develop strategic supplier relationships and manage performance.
• Collaborate with Engineering on technical requirements.
• Monitor lead times and risk across long-lead components.
• Support budgeting and cost optimization initiatives.
