Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Product Sourcing Engineer in Morrisville, NC to lead strategic supply network development and cost management across product lifecycles. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to drive supplier engagement and cost optimization.

The role requires 2+ years in sourcing or related fields, ability to relocate onsite in Morrisville, and up to 25% travel, with a strong focus on TCO and supplier partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices.
• Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at component/product level.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Onsite relocation to Morrisville, NC may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier selection for a specific product using the approved supplier list.
• Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development via concept scoping and trade-off analyses.
• Develop should-cost models and joint design development with clear statements of work.
• Simulate mechanical and electronics designs to optimize cost and performance.
• Drive make-versus-buy analyses and consolidate a manufacturing BOM with Quality & Manufacturing.
• Manage CAPEX across NPIs and lead cost engineering to minimize total cost of ownership.
• Perform value-stream mapping to optimize lead times and supply network flexibility.
