Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of IT software procurement experience required.

Responsibilities

• Procure IT-related goods and services, focusing on software and SaaS.
• Lead end-to-end software acquisitions, contract renewals, license optimization and software vendor negotiations.
• Evaluate IT vendors and contracts, including RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs.
• Provide recommendations for supplier selections based on research and evaluation.
• Support business areas with evaluations of goods/services and negotiation guidance.
• Manage procurement for IT products/services including software, hardware, cloud infrastructure, telecommunications, and managed services.
• Collaborate with IT, Legal, Finance and InfoSec to ensure cost-efficiency, compliance and effective SaaS operations.
• Apply knowledge of IT products/services, procurement rules and financial principles to procurement activities.
• Work independently under general supervision on moderate-difficulty procurement projects.
• Ensure procurement actions comply with statewide procurement regulations.
