Job summary

Acadia is seeking an experienced SEO Manager to lead day-to-day client work and guide internal teams. You will craft and execute comprehensive SEO plans, mentor analysts, and advocate for clients’ programs to drive growth.

You will conduct audits, identify opportunities, design migrations, and present clear recommendations. Strong communication and leadership are essential to align stakeholders and deliver measurable results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct SEO experience including content strategy.
• Experience with web development basics (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of assigned clients as their SEO subject matter expert.
• Oversee research, analysis, and insights of assigned accounts, communicating clear requirements and ensuring reporting aligns with client objectives.
• Directly manage team members, setting expectations and reviewing both their performance and deliverables.
• Conduct comprehensive content, technical, and reputation audits using a suite of tools and transform insights into actionable recommendations for clients.
• Provide expert guidance during site designs, redesigns, and migrations to ensure adherence to SEO best practices.
• Identify emerging opportunities and surface recommendations to clients and the department through compelling presentations.
• When needed, lead client calls, communicate channel performance and industry updates, and follow up on critical discussion points and next steps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SEO Analysts, Copywriters, Managers, Directors and Account Services.
• Contribute to SEO thought leadership through news bites, points of view, internal projects, and vendor meetings.
