TPI Global Solutions seeks an Executive Underwriter – Inland Marine in Itasca, IL (hybrid). This senior role underwrites complex new and renewal business, drives portfolio profitability, and builds agency relationships across territories.

The candidate will coach underwriting teams, manage high-profile Inland Marine accounts, and influence product and market strategies while ensuring regulatory compliance and growth.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years Inland Marine underwriting experience.
• Broad underwriting experience across multiple Inland Marine classes.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting, portfolio management, marketing, and product development.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite new and renewal business and endorsements.
• Manage complex Inland Marine accounts within territory.
• Make strategic underwriting decisions while maintaining profitability.
• Achieve growth, profitability, retention, and portfolio targets.
• Identify underwriting issues and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical guidance to junior/field underwriters.
• Develop new business opportunities with agency partners.
• Build relationships with agents and promote Inland Marine capabilities.
• Develop territory business plans for profitable growth.
• Engage customers on complex accounts and identify market opportunities.
• Support negotiations and improve retention and conversion.
• Monitor market trends and feedback to leadership.
• Collaborate with leadership to execute business strategies.
