Maxcess International is seeking a Senior Buyer to manage a portfolio of commodity suppliers and implement a comprehensive strategic supply strategy. The role involves coordinating RFQs, negotiations, and supplier development to improve delivery, cost, and quality across multiple company locations.

Candidate requirements include 3–5 years in supply chain, ERP experience (Epicor or similar), and strong problem-solving skills.

Competenze

3–5 years of Supply Chain experience required.
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Problem solving and prevention skills required.
Epicor experience or similar ERP required.
Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Mansioni

Manages a portfolio of commodity suppliers and delivers a comprehensive strategic supply strategy.
Classifies suppliers as Preferred, Potential, No New Business, and Desource.
Leads supplier selection and engagement, including RFQ and negotiations.
Provides Supply Chain guidance to all company locations purchasing commodities.
Procurement of production materials, non-production materials, consumable tooling, and capital equipment.
Drives supplier development to improve delivery, cost, and quality.
Keeps abreast of technology updates and industry trends; facilitates cross-functional training.
Acts as a change agent supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
