Job summary

Amazon in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for Sales and Operations Planning to own planning for the fulfillment network. You will analyze demand and supply, influence cross-functional teams, and drive data-driven decisions to optimize inventory, transportation, and labor capacity.

This role blends short-term execution with long-term strategy, requiring strong SQL and Excel skills, stakeholder management, and a customer-centric mindset to improve service levels and cost-efficiency

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years cross-functional experience with tech and non-tech teams.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
• 2+ years of supply chain experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL.
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.

Responsibilities

• Successfully operate and influence in a cross-functional capacity to create the 16 week S&OP plan
• Data mine by leveraging SQL to influence key business decisions
• Demonstrate strong Customer focus
• Work with tech teams to streamline the planning tools for accuracy and efficiency
• Identify, prioritize, and implement processes to eliminate defects in the supply chain
• Create, develop, and drive solutions that lead to a richer end to end customer experience
• Execute thorough root cause analysis and deliver results
