Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Business Line Risk Manager for Global Accounting & Operations (GA&O). You will embed risk expertise into business activities, helping growth while ensuring risks are identified and managed.

You will serve as the primary escalation point for risks and act as SOX Coordinator supporting documentation and coordination with testing teams. The role requires onsite presence three or more days per week and demands strong communication, ownership mindset, and deep knowledge of

Qualifications

• Typically more than six years of applicable experience.
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong business acumen and risk judgment.
• Executive communication skills including the ability to distill complex risk topics into clear, concise messaging.

Responsibilities

• Embed risk expertise into business decisions and initiatives.
• Serve as primary escalation point for existing and emerging risks.
• Act as SOX Coordinator and liaison to the SOX Program Office.
• Coordinate quarterly self-assessments and certifications.
