Job summary

SBA Communications seeks a Senior Data Analyst to lead risk dashboards and insights across controlled processes. You will partner with IT to ingest data into the enterprise data lake and build semantic models for audit and risk teams.

The role demands strong Power BI, SQL, and data visualization skills, with an understanding of SOX/COSO. Excellent communication and stakeholder management are essential. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in risk, audit, or financial environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and data visualization techniques.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and audit risk frameworks (SOX, COSO).
• Experience collaborating with IT to manage data pipelines and data lake architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise-level dashboards that visualize risk metrics, control effectiveness, and audit outcomes using Power BI.
• Partner with IT to ensure seamless data ingestion into the data lake and validate data pipelines.
• Build semantic models and self-service analytics layers for audit and risk teams.
• Develop predictive and descriptive models for risk profiling and process design.
• Translate datasets into actionable insights for senior leadership and ensure data quality and governance.
