Strategic Risk Advisor | Commercial Lines

Under the direction of the President; create and maintain a book of business by soliciting, developing, marketing, and selling new and renewal business in accordance with applicable state insurance regulations for all commercial insurance product lines; work closely with the Account Executives, Account Managers, and Client Service Specialists to handle your clients’ needs. Must have experience in a revenue-generating role selling all lines of commercial insurance coverage within the retail insurance brokerage industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop a network of prospects by various methods including but not limited to cold calling, referrals, industry and special interest groups, in addition to actively prospecting new business opportunities by similar methods
  • Providing efficient, professional, courteous service to clients in conjunction with Account Executives, Account Managers and Claims Consultants
  • Work closely with service teams to review carrier proposals, analyze market summaries, and prepare renewal documents ensuring timeframes and deliverables are met
  • Maintain existing book and current client relationships
  • Stay informed of industry trends including carrier appetites & relationships, and manage expectations with clients
  • Conducts risk management audits in conjunction with a client team. Ensure timeframes and deliverables are met in the sales process. Transition new accounts to the client team seamlessly
  • Achieving annual sales goal at or above agency standards
Certificates/Licenses/Education:
