Job summary

LogicSource, Inc. is seeking a full-time Buyer in Columbus, OH to support a retail client with inventory management, spot sourcing, RFPs, and supplier management. The role sits within the Client Relationship Management team and reports to the Manager, Sourcing and Procurement.

You will build competitive requests for proposals, execute supplier evaluations, and support projects with timely delivery while coordinating across internal functions to achieve objectives and stay within seasonal budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 1-3 years of retail procurement experience required with understanding of supply chain, retail operations, and financial analytics.
• Certified Purchasing Manager, Certified Professional in Supply Management, and/or Project Management Professional certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and Word; knowledge of job management software is highly preferred.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with fast learning and flexible thinking.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Desire and ability to take full ownership of projects and produce high-quality work.
• Strong work ethic with excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage country-specific inventory to support daily store operations efficiently.
• Support international and domestic real estate store activity with complete supply packages.
• Collaborate with internal brand teams to meet seasonal budgets and objectives.
• Lead competitive domestic and international sourcing events and supplier selections for cost optimization.
• Document decisions and manage project timelines across cross-functional teams.
• Maintain data accuracy in reporting and analysis for supply and packaging programs.
• Update standard operating procedures and manage meeting materials and notes.
