Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering or equivalent preferred; may substitute for up to 3 years of experience.
• Journeyman Lineman or Substation Electrician certification may substitute for up to 3 years experience.
• Experience in estimating, planning, or scheduling of construction/maintenance/operations is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of electrical utility transmission and distribution facilities and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create workscope for customer/system maintenance and outages, considering budgets, history, and safety.
• Plan work, write procedures, order equipment, and coordinate customer outages and notifications.
• Develop schedules coordinating personnel, vendors, and external services.
• Monitor progress, adjust schedules, and estimate effort and resource needs.
• Generate reports on resources and costs; track budgets and variances.
• Interact with internal/external stakeholders to support objectives.
