Job summary

HF Sinclair Corporation is seeking a seasoned refinery planner to lead STOP-based operations and regional planning activities. The role interfaces with refinery operations, engineering and commercial teams to align operating plans with approved STOP targets and optimization opportunities.

The candidate will communicate economic priorities, run short-term evaluations, and maintain inventory targets while supporting safe, economically optimized envelopes.

Qualifications

• Eight years of on-the-job refinery operations or process engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Own refinery operating assumptions, constraints and opportunities for in-month and out-month operations.
• Identify and communicate impacts of refinery constraints, risks, and opportunities on plans.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering and refinery personnel to align plans and execution priorities.
• Provide refinery outlooks and inventory viewpoints to support regional planning and optimization.
• Participate in Regional Planning discussions representing refinery capabilities and risks.
• Own STOP communication, implementation and stewardship.
