Job summary

City and County of San Francisco’s San Francisco Public Utilities Commission seeks an 1824 Principal Administrative Analyst I (Real Estate Analyst) to support lease, acquisition and disposition of non-residential property. Responsibilities include title analysis, stakeholder communications, and drafting complex real estate agreements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional analytical experience; a Master’s degree can substitute for one year.

Qualifications

• Possession of a baccalaureate degree and five (5) years full‑time analytical work experience in budgets, contracts, grants, policy or related areas.
• Graduate degree (Master’s or higher) may substitute for one year of experience.
• Additional experience may substitute for degree on a year-for-year basis (up to two years).

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft complex deeds, purchase and sale agreements, easements, licenses and other agreements.
• Coordinate project reviews with internal and external stakeholders and advance review with teams.
• Prepare complex real estate reports, graphics and spreadsheets for the department, the Commission and the Board of Supervisors.
• Make maps in the GIS platform.
• Evaluate land-related environmental, economic and legal issues per CEQA, local ordinances and general plans.
• Review projects for SFPUC policy compliance and standards.
• Act as liaison to regulatory/advisory bodies and SFPUC staff across divisions.
