Job summary

Tecsa is seeking a Category Planning Analyst to analyse store clusters by category and perform detailed range analysis to optimise store assortments. You will use clustering and assortment tools to generate data-driven recommendations and forecasts, presenting insights to traders and directors for alignment.

Experience in grocery retail and category management is essential, with strong interpersonal and influencing skills to drive commercial actions across teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in grocery retailing or comparable fast-paced retail environment.
• Hands-on experience with comprehensive category management processes and systems.
• Demonstrated track record in senior stakeholder management and cross-functional alignment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse store clusters by category and conduct detailed range analysis.
• Develop data-driven range recommendations and sales forecasts.
• Present outputs to Traders, Senior Traders and Trading Directors for alignment.
• Collaborate with Suppliers and trading teams to shape category strategy.
