You will develop cost-saving initiatives, negotiate contracts, mentor buyers, and oversee inventory to ensure timely deliveries. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in manufacturing procurement are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of purchasing/procurement experience in manufacturing.
Proven cost savings and supplier relationship management track record.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and purchasing software.
ISM CPSM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement purchasing strategies for raw materials and components.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and quality standards.
Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk assessments.
Lead and mentor a team of purchasing agents or buyers.
Oversee inventory levels and ensure timely delivery to support production.
