Job summary

Air Liquide Advanced Materials in Branchburg, NJ is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to manage day-to-day procurement, review requisitions, place POs, and maintain ERP data. The role focuses on cost reduction, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration for MRO and raw materials, leveraging SAP expertise in a hybrid work environment.

The position offers a salary range of $57,000 to $72,000 annually with a 5% bonus and benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain may replace relevant work experience.
• ERP system experience preferred, especially SAP.
• Knowledge of chemical or electronics industry operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review requisitions, place purchase orders, and follow up with vendors for MRO and raw materials orders.
• Maintain PO data up to date within SAP.
• Follow up with vendors on delivery dates and blanket order releases; expedite as needed.
• Review supplier bid proposals and negotiate contracts within budget.
• Maintain certifications for pressure vessels and assist in providing certifications to vendors.
• Develop cost reduction ideas for MRO items and assist with vendor sourcing.
• Reconcile PO/invoice discrepancies with Accounts Payable as needed.
• Troubleshoot ERP system errors and create new part numbers or vendors.
