Job summary

Air Force Elements, U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is seeking a Publications Management Analyst to support publications, policy memorandums, and IMT/Forms management for USSOCOM, its five Components, and seven TSOCs.

You will apply DoD directives, manage record sets, and help plan and execute publishing projects while leveraging Office software, SharePoint, and publishing tools. Strong writing and coordination skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of functions, principles, and processes of Publication and Forms Management; CJCS Manual volumes and related records management procedures.
• Ability to apply procedures and policies for publishing management and to maintain credibility on technical matters.
• Familiarity with analytical methods and data measurements to plan, schedule and conduct projects in publications programs.
• Experience locating information via PC, internet, and world wide web and using: Microsoft Office Suite, Desktop Publishing, Adobe Life Cycle, and related tools.
• Ability to plan and execute complex publishing projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to present issues clearly.
• Bachelor's degree in a discipline requiring critical thinking; Master's preferred.
