Job summary

Public Safety Intelligence Analyst position with the State of Ohio's Ohio Narcotics Intelligence Center in Toledo is responsible for developing research tools, identifying and analyzing informational databases, and preparing intelligence reports and briefings for public safety partners.

The job includes interstate coordination, potential travel, security clearance requirements, background checks, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

36 mos. exp. conducting research & writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical &or statistical research techniques.
Or completion of undergraduate core program in homeland security, political science, criminal justice, emergency management, public health, international affairs or related field; AND 12 mos. exp. conducting research & writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical &or statistical research techniques.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

Responsibilities

Develop proper research tools, methods & intelligence request forms to appropriately accommodate intelligence information;
Identify & analyze informational databases, spreadsheets & reports allowing information to be easily exchanged & understood;
Prepare intelligence reports, products, & briefings for presentation to all public safety partners;
Coordinate interstate & intrastate information;
Provide operational guidance to partners;
