Job summary

Lakeshore Learning Materials, LLC is seeking a Proposal Writer to develop compelling proposals that win contracts and support growth. You will manage complex bids, refine content, and collaborate with sales, SMEs, and the design team to produce clear, persuasive responses.

The role emphasizes strong writing, editing, and project management skills, with standard PST hours and on-site collaboration. Relevant experience and the ability to balance multiple deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a related field.
• 2 years of experience in proposal writing or a similar role.
• 2 years of experience supporting or coordinating complex projects.
• Ability to consistently work Pacific Time hours.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly interpret bid requirements to craft tailored responses.
• Collaborate with sales, SMEs, and creative teams to gather input and draft proposals.
• Lead discovery sessions with sales and SMEs to generate new content.
• Write and rewrite content to reflect win strategy for proposals.
• Create sophisticated, compliant and persuasive bid responses and communications.
• Edit final responses for spelling, grammar, style, and consistency.
• Consolidate information from multiple sources for complete bid responses.
• Convey complex ideas in a clear, logical sequence for diverse audiences.
• Incorporate feedback and technical input from stakeholders into bid content.
• Manage multiple proposals with kickoffs, deadlines and check-ins.
• Coordinate with design to develop visuals for bid responses.
• Maintain templates and content library used by the Bid team.
• Tailor writing to effectively reach the intended audience.
