Job summary

Fireworks AI in New York, NY is seeking a Strategic Projects Lead to drive high-impact, cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, Product, and GTM. You will be a high-agency operator wearing many hats within the product organization, applying deep knowledge of customers to shape programs end-to-end.

You’ll own multi-stakeholder engagements, determine roadmap needs, and launch cross-functional initiatives from definition to execution, including partnerships and model launches.

• 1+ years in a high-ownership, fast-paced environment (consulting, product management, software or banking).

The Role

Fireworks AI is looking for a Strategic Projects Lead to drive high-impact, cross-functional initiatives. We’re looking for a high-agency operator to wear many hats at the intersection of Engineering, Product, and GTM. You’ll be part of the Fireworks product organization where you’ll be an expert in Fireworks’ products and customers. You’ll use that knowledge to drive high-priority, end-to-end projects across the company.

• Build deep relationships with customers and lead strategic customer engagements from initial sale to long-term success
• Determine product roadmap needs and instrument solutions end-to-end
• Own and drive cross-functional initiatives from definition to execution, like partnership creation and model launches

Minimum Requirements

• We’re hiring smart hungry people at a variety of experience levels - 1+ years of experience in a high-ownership, fast-paced environment (consulting, product management, software or banking)
• Entrepreneurial mindset - excitement about wearing many hats and ability to identify issues and execute quickly
• Fluency to engage with senior stakeholders in client and partner organizations
• Technical fluency in AI, ML infrastructure, or cloud platforms
• Proven track record of leading complex technical or cross-functional initiatives
• Analytical capability and comfortability driving decisions quantitatively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bias toward action and high accountability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on ML infrastructure, inference systems, or AI platforms
• Experience supporting enterprise or strategic customers
• Prior experience in infrastructure, DevEx, or performance optimization initiatives
• Experience operating in high-growth startup environments
