Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a Project Procurement Specialist to support procurement strategies and project management across the Segment's plants, including international sites.

The role reports to the Segment Procurement Lead and can be based in Whitehall, MI or La Porte, IN, on-site. You will develop and manage contracts, create purchase orders, monitor performance, and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a Procurement or Contract Development/Management within procurement, required.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in ORACLE, or similar type Enterprise Business Systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Contract development and management to reflect scope, requirements, and terms and conditions.
• Lead and support procurement projects including sourcing of goods, services, CAPEX, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Identify inefficiencies with procurement processes and implement solutions to reduce waste and ensure compliance.
• Provide direct support to Segment plants and back-up execution tasks as needed.
