Job summary

Walden University is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance student enrollment, retention, and overall student experience. You will coordinate delivery of products, services, and improvements across the university and Covista, collaborating with functional leaders and stakeholders to plan, execute, and monitor projects aligned with strategic priorities.

The role emphasizes risk management, timely delivery, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, PM or related field required.
• Five years’ experience of full lifecycle project management with PMBOK or equivalent.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience in an academic enterprise is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes project needs and identifies resources required.
• Develops detailed project plans with activities, timelines and resources.
• Tracks progress and documents work plans to drive completion.
• Manages multiple projects to deliver on time and within scope.
• Adjusts tasks and resources to maintain progress.
• Provides input on optimizing resource use and staffing.
