Powell Industries is seeking a Project Manager II to oversee the full project lifecycle from requirements through closeout in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams to ensure delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets, with a focus on customer satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or PMP/APM certification, plus several years of project management experience in relevant industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business, engineering, or related fields or PMP/APM certification.
• Experience in project management within construction, manufacturing, oil & gas and/or power distribution.
• Proven ability to lead and influence a matrix-organized team.
• Proficiency with Primavera, MS Project and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive and oversee project execution to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead kickoff meetings and coordinate across departments.
• Manage project plans, schedules, and risk with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and PMO standards.
• Communicate project status, financials, and changes clearly to customers.
