Job summary

NYISO seeks a full-time Project Manager to lead large, cross-department initiatives. The role will plan, direct and execute projects, monitor schedules and budgets, and interface with senior management and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree and at least five years of end-to-end project management experience in dynamic environments, with a focus on SDLC and vendor relations. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• Five years of demonstrated success in managing project development life-cycle processes.
• Experience coordinating multi-department initiatives and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage multiple large, complex, cross-departmental projects.
• Apply project management principles to achieve on-time, on-budget outcomes.
• Develop domain knowledge in NYISO markets to manage scope and implementation.
• Lead risk identification, reporting, mitigation and status updates.
• Oversee RFP/RFI processes and vendor selection in coordination with Procurement.
• Monitor budget and resource plans; report variances and drive corrective action.
• Participate in Project Management Working Group meetings.
