Thales is seeking a Project Controller who will report to the Financial Controller and independently manage day-to-day project accounting and financial analysis for a portfolio of complex projects valued at more than $20 million.

You will work with Project Managers to forecast, bill, and monitor costs, ensure accurate revenue recognition, and uphold internal controls and contractual requirements across the portfolio. This hybrid role supports collaboration across multiple locations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 3+ years of accounting/financial analysis experience.
• Experience in project accounting, contract accounting, or similar complex financial activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and large data-set analysis.
• Ability to clearly communicate financial information to both financial and nonfinancial stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Independently manage project accounting activities for assigned projects, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely information.
• Establish and maintain project budgets and cost structures in the ERP system; analyze costs, commitments, WIP, revenues, margins, and cash flow.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to review estimates to complete and estimates at completion; adjust forecasts as needed.
• Prepare project financial reporting, reconcile entries, support revenue recognition and timely billings per contracts.
• Monitor billing status and receivables; support cash collection and budget/forecast processes.
• Identify control gaps and drive process improvements in accounting and reporting.
