Qualifications

• 8+ years in a product development environment; consulting or business development experience is a plus.
• BS degree in engineering or technical field, or equivalent.
• First-hand understanding of early-stage technology development and product commercialization; life sciences experience is a plus.
• A true passion to land programs that add value to the business.
• Industry knowledge and a network of contacts in relevant sectors.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to articulate sophisticated technical content clearly.
• Team-oriented mindset with collaborative working style.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and drive communications with prospective clients; manage early-stage interactions and use CRM for contact management and deal tracking.
• Present capabilities, identify opportunities, and assess client needs; understand client goals.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and collaborators across client organizations.
• Develop and present proposals, statements of work, and presentations with value proposition and capabilities.
• Coordinate with legal to ensure timely execution of NDAs, MSAs, and contracts.
• Negotiate and close program opportunities with cross-functional teams.
• Stay engaged in project work and advocate for long-term client relationships.
• Expand awareness of Fikst through industry events and personal networks to identify new opportunities.
