Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis for multiple projects in aerospace, defense, and government contracting.

You will work with senior management to prepare presentations, perform variance analysis, and ensure compliance with government accounting requirements. Requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and proficiency in Excel; Power BI preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from four-year college or university.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word.
• Power BI experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate across all levels of management.
• Experience with government accounting and various contract types.

Responsibilities

• Monthly/Quarterly program forecast reviews.
• Budget variance analysis including ETC, EAC, and Budget Baseline analysis.
• Analyze and validate project costs; analyze project performance status and identify financial risks.
• Sales Forecasting.
• Assist and support the reconciliation of contracts for revenue recognition, funding, percent complete, customer billings, and CDRLs.
• Participate in project cost review meetings.
• Prepare presentations and host Program Financial Review meetings with senior management.
• Support financial audits as necessary.
• Prepare adhoc reports and analysis as necessary.
• Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines.
