Job summary

Acentra Health is seeking a Program Director to lead the NY Medicaid Provider Services Management program. You will provide strategic leadership, oversee enrollment and management activities, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with client expectations.

The role requires deep health services and PM experience, with focus on risk management, CMS/HIPAA compliance, and multi-partner collaboration. Travel to client sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years managing complex healthcare, Medicaid, government, or technology programs.
• 10+ years’ managerial and leadership experience.
• Experience managing full system development life cycle (planning to operations).
• Experience with provider enrollment, Medicaid Enterprise Systems, MMIS, or similar programs.
• Experience coordinating with government agencies, system integrators and vendors.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and on-site meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for a complex provider enrollment and management program.
• Ensure delivery on schedule, within budget, and per contractual commitments and client expectations.
• Coordinate activities across operations, technology, PM, business analysis, testing, training, and production support.
• Manage risks and issues, drive continuous improvement, and align with client objectives.
• Prepare and present status reports, executive briefings, and financial updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Lead transition from development to steady-state operations with proper readiness and staffing.
