Atlas Roofing Corporation in Diboll, TX is seeking a highly organized Scheduler to keep production running smoothly. You will partner with operations, purchasing, and shipping to align capacity with demand and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years in production planning or scheduling, an associate degree, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office. Travel to other sites may be required.

Formación

• Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years planning/scheduling experience.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate production priorities with operations, maintenance, quality, warehouse, and shipping departments.
• Monitor staffing, machine availability, and production capacity to optimize workflow and reduce downtime.
• Adjust schedules to address material shortages, equipment issues, or changing requirements.
• Work with purchasing to ensure raw materials, packaging, and consumables are available to support production plans.
• Manage inventory levels for make-to-stock items and maintain finished goods records.
• Perform weekly cycle counts and assist with month-end inventory reconciliation.
• Analyze production trends and data to improve forecasting and efficiency.
• Communicate schedule updates and priorities to team members.
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to planning and scheduling.
• Travel periodically to other sites for collaboration and engagement.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Plant Manager
