Job summary

Cooper Standard Automotive is seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler to align customer requirements with manufacturing and material planning. You will serve as the primary contact for material-related matters, monitor inventory, production priorities, and supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or active pursuit of a four-year degree and at least two years of scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or active pursuit of a four-year degree.
• At least two years of manufacturing scheduling experience.
• Experience using SAP PPDS for material planning and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Review PPDS and SAP systems to confirm material availability for daily production.
• Coordinate outbound expedites to customers and communicate delivery status.
• Adjust production schedules and stock orders to support priority jobs.
• Monitor inventory related to obsolete jobs and spot buys.
• Maintain communication with customers, suppliers, manufacturing, warehousing, and shipping.
